Super Quaich CX Entries Go Live
Entries to Rouken Glen CX, opening race in the Super Quaich Cyclocross Series, went live last night and sold out in 18 minutes. Now in it's third year, the buzz around the Super Quaich has grown exponentially and entrants will no doubt be hoping for a repeat of last years snowy conditions at RGCX.
Media Roundup: Scottish CX Championships - Irvine Previews
This weekend sees the Scottish CX world descending on the Ayrshire coast for the National CX Championships. Hosted by Walkers Cycling Club, and featuring a tweaked course (which Neil Walker described as riding pretty fast a week or so ago after heavy rain), the race will see stacked fields across all categories.
Race Report: RGCX (Super Quaich 1)
This was epic, in a way that CX is seldom epic; snow, a fantastic course in a natural amphitheatre of cross, mechanical catastrophe, recovery, further catastrophe and some big hearted “balls-out” racing. Stevie Jackson (Glasgow United) was pushed all the way by a rampaging but doubly unlucky Davie Lines and the 14 year old Cameron Mason who had the ride of the day before fading in the last couple of laps.
Beveridge Park Racers Return for Cyclocross Shootout.
Portage Cycling have again paired up with Fife Council’s Active Fife team to deliver the second Beveridge Park Grand Prix of Cyclocross. The event which forms the third round of the Super Quaich Winter Series will be held on Sunday 7th February 2016.
The sell out event has over 200 riders signed up to take on the challenging tarmac and grassland circuit of 1.2 miles in an exciting A and B race format.
Super Quiach 4 - Dig In At The Dock
If you ever wanted to watch a big CX race, but didn't fancy the trip to Belgium, get down to Bo'ness this weekend for the best race in Scotland. The main event of the day will see Scotland's top riders battling for the Super Quaich, the culmination of a brand new four-race series which has seen some amazing muddy (and snowy) battles this year.
