Euan Lindsay, Albannach CC rider, slinger of paint at Shand Cycles, SCX committee member and rider of the sparkliest bike in Scottish cross, unveiled his new Results website Statage.cx this weekend.

Statage.cx offers riders a variety of ways to view both overall race results and personal perfomances, and, with a number of additional features planned, the site should become the go-to place for UK CX results. Euan hopes that by collating recent and future CX results in one place, it should be easier to follow and understand the rapidly growing UK cyclocross scene.

The aim is that riders and organisers, amongst others, will be able compare themselves directly to their peers.

The main Results page is deceptively simple at first glance, with Events listed in chronological order and a running tally of Races, Racers, Results and Teams at the top of the page. Click on a specific race, however, and the fun really begins.

Main Results Page

Each Race page has the same large typeface tallies at the top, with the podium for each race category listed (with a link to view Full Results for each category). Clicking through to the Full results (below) gives you a full table, listing Riders and positions, Teams, number of laps and times.

Clicking on a rider on any page brings up a comprehensive summary of results (including tallies of Best Result, Last Result and Average Position), while if you click on a Team name and you can see all the riders who race for that squad.

The Rider pages contain probably the most interesting feature with the introduction of a Rivals section. This small table view lists 6 riders who consistently place around you, showing relative results (wins and losses) and could become the killer feature for riders who want to know who to gun for at the next race…

Keep an eye on the site over the next few months as Euan continues to add features and results.
