While there’s still two races left in the Super Quaich Series, and the SC North CX Series is well underway, you may be forgiven for thinking we’re nearing the end of the season. After all, it’s mid January, there’s hardly a drop of snow anywhere in Scotland and the nation’s top riders are heading for their National Champs showdown in Kent this weekend.
Think again. With 10 races remaining on the calendar, all 3 Scottish Series remain in the balance and it looks like there could be some interesting battles in the weeks to come, across the whole country.
With the last two races of the SCX Season “finale” up north, will riders try and carry form right through, or will some be targeting the last couple of races of the year in a bid to hit the ground running for some early season road races. The new organisers at DTCC putting on the final race of the season could very well see some surprise faces on the podium.
