Following our announcement that the SCX Series is returning for 2022-23, the Scottish Cyclocross Association is delighted to provide an updated calendar with new venues added to what will be a packed racing season.

Kicking off at Muir of Ord on 18 September, the Series will be formed of eight races across the country, including some exciting new courses, and a welcome return to Camperdown Park in Dundee for the Scottish National Championships on 13 November. The Champs will also count towards the overall Series.

SCX confirmed dates are now as follows:

·         Rnd 1 - 18 Sep - Muir of Ord

·         Rnd 2 - 2 Oct - Lochore Meadows

·         Rnd 3 - 16 Oct - Brechin

·         Rnd 4 - 6 Nov - Irvine

·         Rnd 5 - 13 Nov - Camperdown Park

·         Rnd 6 - 20 Nov - Castle Douglas

·         Rnd 7 - 27 Nov - Kinneil X

·         Rnd 8 - 11 December - Fife College

The final series standing is based on the best 7 performances out of the 8 races. Entry dates and spectator information will be published in due course.

Alongside planning a new SCX Series, the Association has been working with organisers to identify and support other grass-roots cyclocross races across Scotland - you can find those confirmed so far here.

We can support races in a number of ways, from timing contracts to tracking down race equipment, so if you are thinking of putting on a race this season, we want to hear from you - please email hello@scottishcx.org.uk
