Race Organiser’s Meeting: 30th April 2023

Those of you who were able to attend the Scottish Cyclocross AGM in March will have heard about proposals for the SuperQuaich and SCX series to overlap in the calendar next season. As always pulling together a race calendar is challenging, and of course couldn’t happen without organisers.

So we are holding a meeting for race organisers and potential organisers at 7:30pm on Sunday 30th April, to try to achieve the following:-

1) Present a calendar framework

2) Discuss Series formats for both the SCX and Super Quiche series; and

3) Request organiser's intentions.

The ideal is that organiser's plans fit into a well balanced season with no conflicts or compromises. The probability is that some discussion will be needed and we do not expect to finish the meeting with a completed calendar, not least because not everyone will be able to attend on a Bank Holiday weekend.

The meeting is open to any organiser or potential organiser and it doesn’t matter what size of race you are thinking of (series or non-series), or whether dates and venues are still undecided.
